aNotepad is a mobile app that allows you to take notes on the go and share them online. It offers two modes of operation: Standalone mode and Connected mode.
In Standalone mode, no login is required, and your notes will only be stored on your mobile device. However, if you later decide to create an account with anotepad.com, your local notes will be uploaded to your account.
Connected mode allows you to synchronize your notes with the anotepad.com cloud server by logging in with a free account. This enables you to access your notes from multiple devices and even through the anotepad.com website using a web browser.
One of the key features of aNotepad is note sharing. Users in Standalone mode can only share their notes as text. However, logged-in users can generate instant note web pages and share the URL with others.
To ensure privacy, aNotepad offers different note permission settings. You can set your note as private, allowing only you to read and edit it. Alternatively, you can make it public, allowing anyone with the URL to read it. Additionally, you can protect your note with a password, restricting access to only those who know the password. If you enable guest editing, people with the note editing password can also edit your note on the anotepad.com website.
